Raj Athwal, CEO of global sports consultancy Arena Red is delighted to receive the endorsement of football legend Luther Blissett.

Luther Blissett played as a striker and is best known for his time at Watford, whom he helped win promotion from the Fourth Division to the First under the stewardship of Graham Taylor. Luther also played for AC Milan who paid £1m for him in 1983. Blissett was capped 14 times by England, scoring a hat-trick on his debut.

When asked about his support for Arena Red Luther said “I met Raj through the Former Players Association while at Watford. Over time you could see the benefits of his vision as he brought a dynamism to the commercial areas. He was certainly responsible for laying the foundations commercially for which the Club has since benefitted. I am delighted to be backing Raj and his future projects at Arena Red”

With several top managers, players and executives from the football industry supporting Raj he commented “We are honoured to have someone of Luther’s calibre join us at Arena Red, as we embark on several exciting projects in the UK and overseas”
